This painting depicts Mina Mina which is located west of Yuendumu in the Tanami Desert, in country that features and is dominated by salt lakes, claypan soakages and sandhills.
Margaret is a highly skilled and versatile artist. In 1978 Margaret participated with other Yuendemu women in learning the art of Batik-making. Since that time Margaret's work has evolved into several unique style. Her paintings depict the stories associated with her country Janyinki and Mina Mina Dreaming, west of Yuendumu.
