This work represents "medicine leaves", the leaves of the kurrajong tree used in the Utopia area to treat a variety of ailments. The women collect the leaves, dry and mix them with kangaroo fat, this extracts the plants medicinal qualities. The kurrajong tree and its healing properties are celebrated in Womens ceremonies.
